Support Kendall Jones' Fight for Recovery

On July 14th, Kendall Jones was rushed to the ER and was discovered to have had multiple strokes on both sides of his brain. That day began a series of events that has led to the discovery of multiple serious health issues including Afib, high blood pressure, advanced stage bile duct cancer that had spread to other organs and more strokes with the most recent ones occurring yesterday, July 26th. The strokes yesterday caused multiple other complications, one of them being complete vision loss with the possibility of it never fully returning. The road to possible recovery is going to be extremely long and difficult on the family because Kendall will more than likely be in an inpatient facility receiving treatment for about a year. During this time he will be receiving occupational therapy to help him recover from the multiple strokes and also receiving chemotherapy every other week for the cancer treatment since the cancer is too aggressive and has spread too much to perform surgery.

Kendall has been there for my family more times than I can count. From helping us move into our home to being there anytime we’ve needed him including doing so much for our wedding… he truly is an incredible friend and would give anyone the shirt off of his back. Nina, Kendall’s wife, is my closest and dearest friend and their entire family means so much to us. They also have three boys at home who this is incredibly hard on. Thankfully, Nina’s mom is taking care of the boys while Nina is staying at the hospital with Kendall but they still need so much support. The most helpful thing for them right now would be financial support to buy meals for the boys at home to take a little bit of the load off of Nina’s mom. With neither Kendall or Nina working right now, any donation that you are able to make would be so greatly appreciated and will go directly to the family for anything they may need during this time. If you’re unable to financially contribute, your prayers mean the world to them. They know that God has a plan and are trusting in him regardless of the outcome. Please pray for wisdom for Kendall’s medical team to provide an effective treatment plan as well as peace and comfort that only God can provide the family through this incredibly difficult time.
