Thank you for taking the time to read our updated GoFundMe page. I have done an update and I am asking for some help in pushing this GoFundMe page for the early weeks of December. as I have explained in the video. there has been a situation develop that has caught me completely off guard.

I did know that my paychecks were going to stop from Liberty Public Schools after my November paycheck. However, disability checks were supposed to kick in to help cover my paychecks until my retirement benefits begin at the end of February. But, we recently discovered that an overpayment was made and the error actually occurred late this summer. However, I am financially responsible to repay this amount which is close to $6,000. This was a mistake that was admittedly the fault of the disability company, to which they have apologized. Well, the bulk of that money is no longer around as we use that to purchase the van that we use to move our Mobility Scooter around. So, the excess money from the disability checks are being used to cover the difference and repay the overpayment that is due, leaving me no money coming in for the month of December. and part of January. Needless to say, this was a huge surprise and blow that we were not prepared for.

So, we are asking for your help in sharing our GoFundMe page and pushing it to all of your social media Outlets and sharing it as much as you can. Thank you in advance for your support as every dollar amount helps.

Fighting cancer, everything is going great. My spirits are wonderful. I'm getting ready to start another round of chemotherapy. Our MRI that we had hoped to have in early December has been pushed back to January. In the meantime, I will continue to fight against cancer with chemotherapy and using my Optum treatment. I have mentioned in the past that the minimum goal for me to wear my arrays and fighting against glioblastoma is 75%. Last month I wore my arrays a whopping 91%. So, I am doing my job as best as I can to fight this dreaded and nasty cancer.

Those of you that have followed along with my progress following four leg surgeries will be happy to hear that I have been cleared for outpatient Physical Therapy. We hope to start that process the week of December 11th. We just have to work out to make sure that we have rides taken care of as I cannot drive myself yet. But, the day is coming!
