Help the Knightley family fight Ken's brain tumor.

Ken and Teresa are fighting a devastating medical battle and could use our help. In 2009, Ken was diagnosed with an inoperable brainstem tumor following months of uncertainty and misdiagnosis. Over the last 15 years, he has endured multiple surgeries, endless scans, and countless medications to help manage his symptoms.

Today, Ken suffers from debilitating facial pain, blurred vision, and extreme light sensitivity so intense that he is forced to spend most of his days in darkness. More recently, his balance has become an issue, and he is no longer able to drive because of his vision. Even after undergoing another surgery in early 2025, he has yet to get any relief, and the symptoms have continued to progress.

In October of this year, they learned the heartbreaking news that his tumor is, in fact, cancerous. It was determined that the next course of treatment would be six weeks of daily radiation at the University of Washington. This will not cure or even shrink his tumor but hopefully will slow its progression. The challenges that Ken is now facing are their new "normal" at best.

Unfortunately, Ken was laid off in early 2025, and has not been able to work since his last surgery. They are currently working on getting him approved for permanent disability.
