Support Ken Keber during his battle with Cancer
Donation protected
Hi my name is Kelsey and I am the daughter of Ken and Carol Keber. Recently my dad has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a cancer of the blood that affects production of healthy blood cells in the bone marrow.
Ever since his diagnosis Ken has been admitted to hospital in Dawson Creek. His major symptom was back pain, and the day he was diagnosed he had been taken to the ER due to inability to walk. Unfortunately the back pain has been progressively getting worse due to lesions in his spine where the bone is being destroyed from the cancer. As you can imagine this is incredibly painful, and currently he isn't even able to sit up in bed.
Ken will be flown south for a biopsy, radiation and chemotherapy. My mom will be accompanying him. Unfortunately this means that for the current time neither will be able to work as we navigate finding out what his exact treatment plan will be.
My parents would never ask for financial help, which is why I am doing so for them. This is going to be a hard road and every dollar will help in one way or another. Mom will be travelling 13 hours away from their home to be with him so gas and food clearly adds up, but so do bills. So whatever you can do to help will be beyond appreciated.
Most importantly, please pray. This is a very difficult season. We want to see dad pain free, and cancer free. Anyone who knows Ken and Carol know that they are always the first to give of themselves. This time they are the ones who can use the help <3
