I am starting a campaign on behalf of my co-worker, mentor, and dear friend, Ken Wilson. Ken has just recently been diagnosed with ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig's disease). In this disease, nerve cells break down, which reduces the functionality of the muscles they supply. The cause is unknown, and currently, there is no cure.

In addition to this heartbreaking news, Ken's wife, Billie, has been quietly waging her own private battle against Stage 3 esophageal cancer over the past 2 years.

Ken is a devoted husband (22 years), a father of 4, and grandfather of 9. He is a man of faith and a proud member/contributor to Lighthouse of the Word church in Rossville.

Ken has also been an essential part of the Golden Corral of Fort Oglethorpe family for nearly 20 years, having put regular smiles on the faces of co-workers and guests alike with his humor and infectious smile.
