Help Support Kemp Acres Farm
Kemp Acres began with a few chickens and ducks — and a lifelong dream. I started small, but soon people began asking if I could take in animals that needed new homes. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a sanctuary filled with love (and feathers, fur, and hooves).
In less than two years, our family farm in Ohio has grown to care for 13 goats, 1 pig, 4 ducks, 21 chickens, 1 turkey, 6 rabbits, 2 cats, 2 hermit crabs, and even an axolotl. Kemp Acres was named in 2021 after my late grandparents, whose home and land have been in our family for 62 years.
Caring for this many animals is a labor of love, but it comes with challenges — feed and bedding alone now cost about $600 each month. We also need new fencing, barn repairs, and enrichment items to keep our animals safe, healthy, and happy.
Every donation helps us continue providing a forever home for animals who have nowhere else to go. One day, I hope to open our doors to the public or even become a registered nonprofit — but for now, Kemp Acres remains a humble, private sanctuary built from compassion and family roots.
Thank you for supporting our farm and helping us keep the dream of Kemp Acres alive. ❤️
