On November 6th, 2025, Kelsie went to the University of Kansas Hospital for her 2nd brain surgery. The surgery was successful. Simultaneously, she had her 11th and 12th stroke, which caused her to have difficulties speaking and swallowing. After a two-week stay at The KU Med rehab, she regained her ability to speak. Unfortunately, while she was in the hospital, we were informed that her medical insurance would not be paying for her total stay in the hospital and rehab. We would be paying out of pocket for her medical expenses for the hospital stay and her medical care going forward. If you could give any assistance, it would be great.
