Hi everyone, my name is Aubrey, and I’m starting this GoFundMe for my dear friend Kelsie, who recently went through something truly life-altering.

Kelsie was in a terrible car accident that left her with devastating injuries — she snapped her ankle in two places, crushed her foot, and broke both of her hands. She’s currently recovering from surgery and beginning the long road of physical therapy and healing. She’ll have to relearn how to walk and regain full use of her hands, which is overwhelming on every level.

If you know Kelsie, you know she’s a force of nature — a warm, creative, and fiercely independent soul. She’s a small business owner and an incredibly talented wedding photographer who pours her heart into capturing life’s most meaningful moments for others. Sadly, this accident has put her out of work for the next few months, and without health insurance, the medical bills are already becoming a serious burden.

While she has qualified for some financial aid, the true cost of recovery — from ongoing physical therapy to mobility support and daily care — is much more than we anticipated after her surgery. That’s why I’m reaching out on her behalf.
