Hi everyone, my name is Stormie, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my mom, Kelsi White.
My mom is 38 years old and the strongest person I know. She’s a mom of two and has been fighting a rare form of brain cancer. Over the years, she has already gone through three brain surgeries, and now we are preparing for a fourth surgery in Baltimore with specialists—and we are praying this will be her last.
Watching someone you love go through this is something you can never fully prepare for. But my mom has more resilience and strength than I ever could’ve ever imagined in someone. She inspires me each and every day.
This specific hospital is the only place that specializes in treatment and care for her type of cancer. Unfortunately, it is out of network with our insurance, which means the costs will not be covered. Because of this I am starting this GoFundMe to help cover the costs of surgery, hospital stay, recovery, and travel, so she can focus on healing.
