Support Kelsi, Caden, and Louie in Rebuilding Their Home

My niece, Kelsi Richards is the strongest woman I know. She would also give you the shirt off her back. She is kind, compassionate, and empathetic. I am so blessed to have a niece who is also my sister and friend.

Early this morning (1:30 am on 2/22) Kelsi woke up to a house full of smoke. Firefighters had to rescue her via ladder from her 2nd story. Thankfully, they also were able to save her dog Louie. Her son Caden was not home at the time. We now know a fire had started in the basement, likely electrical. Kelsi did stay the night in the hospital due to smoke inhalation but was released. Kelsi, Caden, and Louie are safe. Praise God.

I remember the day Kelsi bought her own home and now that home has been destroyed. Kelsi and Caden only have the clothes they left in. Kelsi did not even have shoes when she left the hospital. The fire destroyed the basement of their home. The two other stories are full of soot and smoke damaged. It is uninhabitable.

It is time to give back to a woman who gives so much of herself to others. First off, we ask for your prayers. This is obviously a very emotional time and a time of uncertainty. Your prayers are felt and will continue to be coveted. If you are willing and able to donate, funds will be used to address Kelsi and Caden's immediate needs and go towards the insurance deductible.
