Help Kelsey Recover After Tragic Accident

On June 23, 2025, what began as a joyful family road trip ended in heartbreak. While driving home through southern Illinois on I-57, Kelsey and her three beloved dogs—Sadie, Maggie, and Riley—were involved in a devastating car accident. Around 1:30 PM, Kelsey’s vehicle veered off an embankment, rolling several times before crashing into a tree.

Miraculously, Kelsey was able to crawl out of the wreckage and climb back up the embankment to flag down help. Her bravery in that moment is nothing short of remarkable. But what followed was every pet lover's worst nightmare.

Kelsey returned to the wrecked vehicle and discovered that one of her cherished dogs had died and was able to hold another as she passed on. The third dog was missing for over a week, and unfortunately, after an intensive search, she was found to have died shortly after impact.

Due to the nature of the accident and potential injuries, Kelsey was airlifted to St. Louis University Hospital. Her road to healing will be long and difficult—physically, emotionally, and financially.
