As many of you know, my sister Kelsey underwent an open-heart surgery on Monday, 11/24. By the grace of God, the surgery went well and she is now beginning recovery . She’s in a lot of pain but she’s trooping through. My family and I are beyond grateful for every prayer that has been lifted for her because those prayers are WORKING.

A lot of people have reached out asking how they can support her in addition to prayer. Because Kelsey isn’t someone who naturally asks for help outside of family, I felt led to create this for her. One thing about Kelsey is that she is HUGE planner (and I mean for everything). She learned earlier this month that surgery was needed and that she was having heart problems all along, which was causing her extreme illnesses. I know she wants to focus on healing now and despite having the option to not finish the semester, she is committed to staying on track in law school, which will be a lot. Because of the quick timeline, she wasn’t able to prepare for this in any capacity — especially financially and I know that’s stressing her out.

Her next few months will include 12 weeks of cardiac rehab, being unable to drive for 6 weeks, and intense studying to catch up in school. She’ll have the expenses of: copays, medications, Uber rides to appointments and school, and clothing that’s safe and comfortable for her healing. Individually this will add up, and create financial strain during a time when she needs to focus on rest then school.

If you feel led to donate, I know she’d really appreciate it and it’d lift a real burden. But ultimately, your prayers for her strength, and smoothly recovery mean more than anything we could ever ask for!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading this, every prayer, donating, message, etc. I knew she was strong but MAN, she’s pretty much a warrior at this point. ❤️
