Support Kelsey's Fight for Woody's Recovery

Hi, my name is Kristine and I'm a friend of Kelsey's since college (and a friend/fan of Woody's since he came into this world about 10 years ago).

As you all know, Woody is the light of Kelsey's life, and all of ours who know him, and we all know that Kelsey would do anything for him to be healthy, happy and comfortable.

Unfortunately, Woody had a really scary accident this past weekend on Saturday, May 18th that will require him to undergo very intensive surgery and recovery. Fortunately, by the sounds of it, HE'S GOING TO BE OKAY. However, I know Kelsey is counting her lucky stars given how bad this situation could have been for the little guy had he not been rushed to the emergency vet to start his care immediately.

The bills for the surgery alone will cost Kelsey roughly $16,000, and that's not including the cost for medication, recovery supplies or any sort of physical therapy that will be required for him down the road. It's going to be an expensive journey.

While Woody is so lucky that his mom has a great job & is financially savvy to be able to support the two of them living in New York, it's also no secret that living in NYC is expensive enough as it is, let alone adding ~$16k in unexpected and unplanned veterinary bills to the mix.
