Hi, this is Kelsey. I'm Rachel's daughter, and I'm writing movies to short stories about addiction and the lives that it steals too soon. My mom is 53 years old and she's being taken from us way too early. My mom is, to anyone that meets her, the sweetest person you know. She always has a smile and greets people with the kindest words. But she has struggled most of my life with addiction, unable to get away from the grips of it, and it has unfortunately caused her life to be coming to an end. I'm not asking for a lot; we're pretty simple, but if there is anyone that is willing to help me with these final expenses to take care of my mom, I would greatly appreciate it. I've had my own health struggles, and this last year has been really hard on everyone, my mother included. We lost my little brother 2 years ago from cancer, and I had cancer last year also. It began a dark path for my mom and my household. Nevertheless, I'm losing my mother at only 37, and my son is losing his grandma at only 10 years old. It's never enough time, but this is definitely being cut too short.
If anyone can help us with gas expenses, travel expenses, or ending arrangement expenses, we would greatly appreciate it, and thank you all very much for reading my mother's story. I know it was a brief one, but this has been a whirlwind of a week. She has rapidly declined in the last 2 weeks. She was put on palliative care yesterday, and Cooper and I are spending her last days with her.
