Kelsey Goldade is a father, a coach, and a dedicated member of our community - someone who gives his time, energy, and heart to those around him. Now, he needs our help.
In the summer of 2024, Kelsey was diagnosed with cancer. He began treatment in December 2024, undergoing both radiation and chemotherapy with strength and determination. Even through treatment, Kelsey continued to coach his son's hockey team for as long as he could - demonstrating the same dedication, grit, and heart that he brings to everything he does.
Unfortunately, at his most recent check-up, he received the devastating news that the cancer has progressed to Stage 4. Nothing prepares you for the moment a doctor says, "If the tests come back as expected, with treatment, you may have 13 months." But Kelsey isn’t giving up. He is a proud father to two young children, Nixon and Gia. His love for them is what drives him to keep fighting to seek every possible treatment option.
He is currently exploring all possible paths beyond the standard recommendations of chemotherapy and immunotherapy. One promising path is a world-class targeted cancer treatment in the USA that not only attacks the existing cancer cells but also works to prevent future growth by reactivating the body’s immune system. This innovative approach could offer Kelsey more time—and more hope. These treatments come at a significant financial cost and are not covered by traditional healthcare. That’s where we come in.
Kelsey is in the fight of his life, and any support—whether through a donation or simply by sharing this campaign—can make a world of difference. Your generosity will help cover treatment costs, travel, and the many unexpected expenses that come with a battle like this.
Let’s rally around Kelsey the same way he’s shown up for so many of us—as a father, a coach, and a friend. Every little bit helps.
