Over the past month, my cousin Kelsea has been in and out of the hospital due to ongoing and unexplained seizure-like episodes. Most recently, she was admitted again and had to be intubated for two days as doctors worked to stabilize her condition.

This journey has not only been emotionally exhausting for our family but has also placed a significant financial strain on Kelsea and her son and loved ones. Between emergency care, hospital stays, diagnostics, and ongoing treatment, the medical bills have piled up quickly.
