UPDATE -4/30/25- As always, continued thanks to all of you :) I have an interview today and two on Friday and the new place has been great! Things are looking up, but still not out of the woods. Hoping to figure out my vehicle situation soon and anything monetarily or advice helps tremendously! I changed the goal amount today, that money will go towards paying past due debts, getting current, and saving for a new vehicle just to name a few. Humbling has been the word of the week the last few weeks. I appreciate you all and your continued giving :)

Hi everyone,

This isn’t easy for me to write, and it’s even harder to ask—but I’ve reached a point where I truly need help.

In July 2024, I went through a deeply painful and unexpected breakup that completely changed the course of my life. Since then, everything has felt like an uphill battle. I’ve had to make quick, difficult decisions just to stay afloat, including the tough choice to withdraw from college and put my dream of pursuing an x-ray technician degree on pause. I now find myself needing to relocate within the next week. I’m doing my best to stay grounded, but the weight of everything is catching up.

I spent most of the holidays sick due to not being able to receive my regular infusion medications that help my body fight infections. Without them, I was constantly battling illness, which put me out of work more times than I would have liked and made it even harder to regain stability. The time I lost while being sick continued to put me further behind financially, and I’ve been struggling to catch up ever since.

Then in February 2025, I was unexpectedly let go from my job. Just three days later, I injured my elbow and eventually had surgery on March 27. Rehab has been going well, thankfully, but there are still a lot of restrictions that slow me down and limit what I can physically do right now. It’s made the process of getting back on my feet that much harder—especially without a steady income.

To make matters worse, my car was recently repossessed. I have about a week left to get it back, and without it, my options for employment and rebuilding become even more limited. I’ve been applying for work daily, exploring every avenue of support, and trying my hardest to stay hopeful—but I’ve hit a wall.

I’m honestly so embarrassed to even be in this position, asking for help like this. But right now, I have no other options. If you’re able to contribute anything—no matter how small—it would mean the world to me. And if you can’t donate, even just sharing this would be a huge help.

Your kindness, your time, and your support—however it comes—would be a light in this really dark chapter of my life. Thank you for reading and for being here. I’m beyond grateful.

UPDATE 04/23/2024

Thank you so much for all those who have donated. Every little bit helps and I am so grateful. I found a new place which takes a huge burden off and I'm able to breathe slightly better, but times are still rough. Still working on getting my car back and that is what the bulk of this will go to, as well as past due rent I owe my previous roommate and every day needs until I can get back on my feet. Know that your donations have been a huge help and I appreciate you all and whatever you can give.

UPDATE #2: Unfortunately, I wasn't in time enough to get my car back. It sucks and its discouraging but gotta keep pushing! I grew up a latch key kid, so public transportation is not new to me and it won't be forever. One goal is to try and find an inexpensive point A to point B car. I filed for unemployment in February, but with the state of the nation at this time, who knows when it will finally come through. Even still, continued thanks to all who have already donated and shared. The gratitude I have experienced just this week is infinite.
