Kelly has spent her entire adult life caring for others. Now, she finds herself in the unexpected position of needing care herself. She is currently suffering from a traumatic brain injury and rhabdomyolysis, which have left her currently unable to work or be completely independent. This has been a life-changing experience, and it has been incredibly difficult to adjust to relying on others for support.
The financial impact of her situation has been overwhelming. With no income, she is struggling to keep up with medical bills and the costs of daily living. In addition, she is facing a long road of rehabilitation ahead, which will require ongoing care and resources. Every day is a challenge, but Kelly is determined to work toward a full recovery and regain her independence.
“I have been fortunate to receive compassionate and skilled care at Grady Memorial Hospital, and I am deeply grateful for the support of my community during this difficult time. If you are able to help, your kindness will make a real difference in my journey toward healing. Thank you for considering a donation, for prayer, and for standing by me as I work to recover.”
