Kelly was in a car accident on Friday, March 27, 2026, and was care flighted to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She has undergone two surgeries on her abdomen and intestines, spent five days in the trauma ICU, and was recently moved to a regular hospital room. Kelly has had four blood transfusions so far and suffered a crack in her skull that will take time to heal on its own. Her body is badly injured, and it's looking like a long recovery before she can get back to normal. She's currently on oxygen until her body can gain the strength to breathe without it.
We're needing funds to help get an Airbnb near the doctors' offices so my wife can be with her to help her recover and get her to follow-up doctor visits. Funds will also help with gas and food over what will be a long road to recovery. This support will make it possible for Kelly to focus on healing and for our family to be by her side during this difficult time.
Kelly is a kind, compassionate person who loves talking to everyone. She loves reading and writing novels, has a passion for cats, and plays the guitar. She loves giving gifts to people and has an amazing sarcastic sense of humor. She has worked so hard to become independent, supporting herself through work after moving from California to Oklahoma, and this accident will be a huge financial challenge for her. We would be so grateful for any support you can offer to help Kelly on her road to recovery.
