My name is Kelly. I am writing to you today with a heavy heart to share my mom's story. At 50 years old, she began her second battle with cancer, this time breast cancer. The diagnosis came as a complete shock, following a routine mammogram, with no warning signs. She was thrown into a whirlwind of appointments, tests, difficult decisions, surgery (double mastectomy), and chemo.

My mom has always been a devoted mother, grandma, wife, and friend. She has always put everybody above herself. Seeing her face this challenge, while still worrying more about everybody around her, has been difficult, to say the least.

The cost of treatments is staggering. She has been unable to work for 2 months already and will be out for at least another 3 months. My goal and wish is to raise enough to help take some of the burden off of her and help with medical bills and just day-to-day living expenses.

I know that times are hard, so if you are unable to donate, I understand and would greatly appreciate a simple share to help get the word spread.
