In 2017, I was diagnosed with a rare lung disease known as LAM. Since then, my life has changed dramatically. I have faced numerous lung collapses, and over time, my condition has worsened to the point where I now meet the criteria for a lung transplant. This journey has been incredibly challenging, not just physically but emotionally as well. Simple things I used to do—like cleaning my home, cooking meals, or playing with my three kids—have become daily struggles. Some days, I can't even walk up the stairs or get out of bed because I am so exhausted and unable to breathe.

Now, I am preparing for a lung transplant at the Mayo Facility, which is nine hours from my home. Because I am unable to fly, driving is my only option. After the procedure, I will be required to stay near the hospital for approximately three months to recover and attend follow-up appointments. The funds raised will help cover hotel stays and travel expenses for myself and my children during this difficult time.
