Support Kelly's fight of a lifetime

Kelly is an amazing mom to two girls, Elena (15) and Vanessa (11), a loving wife to Geoff, and an incredible friend to many.

In 2020, Kelly and her family’s lives were turned upside down when she was diagnosed with kidney failure. She immediately got on the transplant list, and started doing life-saving daily dialysis treatments. After over 3 long years of waiting, Kelly received a kidney donation in November 2023 from a close friend who was a perfect match.

In a tragic turn of events, the transplant failed after a few short days. This was devastating news for everyone, but Kelly put her superhero cape back on and focused on getting healthy enough to try for another transplant. In March 2024, she once again started the work-up testing in preparation for another kidney transplant.

Just a few weeks ago in June, Kelly became very ill and a series of tests confirmed the worst: liver cancer. With treatment, she has a prognosis of 2 years.

BUT: because Kelly already has an organ donation team, a liver transplant is an option! This would remove the cancer completely so she can once again focus on getting healthy enough for her new kidney. It’s going to be a long and difficult journey, but if anyone can do it, it’s Kelly.

This fundraiser will help alleviate some financial pressure as Geoff will need time away from work to support Kelly through chemo treatments and eventually surgery. Together we can help support this beautiful family and cover some expenses while they focus on what matters the most.
