Support Kelly's Fight for Health and Hope

Dear Friends and Family,

I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart to share the story of my sister, Kelly, who has been bravely battling serious health challenges for the past few years. In 2019, she experienced a thyroid storm that triggered a cascade of health issues, leading to the development of a debilitating lung disease. After three long years of uncertainty and numerous hospital visits, she finally received a diagnosis, but the journey has taken an unimaginable toll on her physical and emotional well-being.

Since 2019, Kelly has been in and out of the hospital, struggling with her health and the side effects of the steroids that are necessary for her survival. Unfortunately, she was forced her to leave her job in 2022, and she has been unable to work since then. She has been waiting for disability assistance for over a year, and we are hopeful that it will come through soon, but until then, the financial strain has become overwhelming.

Despite all she has been through, Kelly remains a beacon of strength and positivity. She has the greatest spirit and is truly a fighter. Anyone who knows her can attest that she would literally give the shirt off her back, food from her house, or money from her pocket to help someone in need. Her kindness and generosity have touched countless lives, and now it’s our turn to support her during this challenging time.

Her wife, Janine, has been an incredible source of support through this difficult journey. As a dedicated paraeducator, she works tirelessly to provide for their family, but the reality is that despite all of this, they are currently surviving on a single income. Despite additional immediate family contributions, the mounting medical bills, daily living expenses, and the costs of necessary treatments have created a financial burden that is increasingly difficult to manage.

We are launching this GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate some of the stress and provide Kelly and her wife with the support they so desperately need during this challenging time. Your contributions will go directly toward medical bills, living expenses, and any additional treatments that may arise as Kelly continues her fight for better health.
