Support Kelly's Fight for Health- Kelly Koziol

You may remember four years ago Kelly went to Mayo in Rochester for help with her liver and spleen issues. These were due to a blood clot in her portal vein and a clotting disorder we were unaware of at the time. In South Carolina she had been given 2-5 years to live. Mayo placed stents in her portal and splenic veins and saved her life. In the last few months issues have returned. She has been in and out of the ER multiple times and in the hospital.She had her first paracentesis in 3 1/2 years. She is dealing with left sided pain, nausea and dizziness that has left her unable to work much of the time. We are praying that Mayo can help her again. Kelly and I leave for Mayo Monday July 8th for her initial evaluation. At this point we expect to be there for a minimum of 5-7 business days but potentially longer. We hope for healing but don’t know what that my entail. Possible Splenectomy? We just don’t know.
