Hello, community! I'm starting this GoFundMe for my friend Kelly. I met him several years ago when our daughters played soccer together, and over the years, he became family. Kelly is absolutely the hardest working man I've ever met. He's also an amazing, incredibly involved father. I've always known him to work tirelessly to provide for his family. He's always worked full-time, and on his off days, he's doing side jobs and helping members of our community, my family included. I'm starting this fund for him because he's fallen on more than hard times.

Kelly is a type 1 diabetic. Over the last year, his diabetes has taken everything from him. He lost his job due to having several surgeries and infections requiring time off work. In December, he had an infection that required his left leg to be amputated. This resulted in being let go from his job. Before the amputation, he had several infections, a toe removed, and many hospital stays. To say he's drowning in debt is an understatement. Not only does he have medical bills piling up, he's 7 months behind on his rent, about to lose his car, and many other bills are going unpaid, not for lack of effort. It's looking like getting social security could take up to a year, and he just doesn't have that much time. He received word yesterday that he's going to be evicted.

Kelly is NOT the kind of person to ask for help or handouts. He's always worked for the things he needs, so allowing me to set this up was incredibly hard for him. I personally vouch for him and can assure you that any donations will go to exactly what he states they're needed for.

Kelly has 2 kids who his world revolves around, 1 being autistic. He would give his last breath to make sure those kids have an amazing life.
