UPDATE 5/7/2026

It's with a heavy heart that I write this.

My wife and love of my life Kelly passed away yesterday afternoon.

Know that she was in no pain and I was blessed to be holding her hand when she peacefully passed into the arms of the lord.

I will update information on funeral/wake arrangements in the near future for the many of you who loved her as much as I.

The family is going to take some time to be together now, but I wanted to thank all of you. You have made our journey through this so much more tolerable with your prayers and support.

On January 26th my wife Kelly Deziell was diagnosed with Brain Cancer. As a 2024 Breast Cancer survivor it had metastasized to multiple locations including 6 areas in her Cerebellum, 2 areas in both frontal lobes, part of the cranial bone and a mass attached to her lower spine.

Although this is devastating news, through our faith in the Lord we remain positive and focused on getting her the best treatment possible.

Anyone who knows my wife knows that her life has been about helping those less fortunate. Whether volunteering to care for Hospice patients during their final days or bringing her pet doves & quail to nursing homes/rehabs for the residents to experience and hold, she always walked through life with a giving and empathetic outlook.

Brain cancer treatment is very expensive along with all its peripheral associated costs and all proceeds from this Gofundme will go to help with this. We are blessed to have so many friends and loved ones who have sent their prayers and well wishes, Kelly and I want to thank you all.

This is the fight of Kelly's life. The next 3-6 months will be the most crucial in giving Kelly the best outcome of length and quality of life.

All proceeds will go to help pay-

Medical bills (After talking with Baystate Financial we know there will be substantial costs not covered by insurance)

30' L-shaped Wheelchair handicap ramp & Medical Hoyer Lift (Because of the location of Cancer, Kelly has lost 95% motor function in her legs and has deteriorated from a walker to a wheelchair.)

Domestic bills (Kelly shut down her Massage Therapy business in December when symptoms first appeared and we've been using our savings to cover the 50% loss of income. Funds will help keep the lights on and bills paid through treatment)

Legal matters (with any health issue this serious there are necessary legal subjects that need to be addressed i.e Durable POA, getting Deed updated, Personal Will etc)

Specific Diet (With Direct Radiation and Chemotherapy the main part of treatment, a focus on nutrient-dense foods to maintain weight, strength, and immune function, typically featuring lean proteins, colorful fruits/vegetables, whole grains, and healthy fats will be the goal)
