Support Kelly through breast cancer

My favorite sister, Kelly Couch (Vickers), received a diagnosis of stage 2 breast cancer in October and really needs the support of friends and family to get through it. Knowing she has a high risk of cancer, she has been diligent about getting the recommended annual screenings. She had a clear mammogram in April of this year, but she noticed a lump that caused some concern. Her doctor assured her it was probably nothing, but ordered tests to give her peace of mind.  A few days later she got the bad news and immediately scheduled surgery. To be extra safe and cautious, she had a double mastectomy on November 5th, but has a long road of chemo, medications, and reconstruction surgeries ahead. While all of the medical procedures and treatments would scare most of us, she hasn't complained about that part once. She has no choice but to go through all the treatments to continue to be here for her girls. What really stresses her out is not being able to cover all of the financial expenses that come with a diagnosis like hers.

 

 

Kelly is a stay at home mom of two young daughters (ages 5 and 7), and now requires more help from her husband, Wes, for the day to day activities for both her and the girls. Unfortunately they don't have the benefits to make ends meet and money is the last thing she needs to worry about right now. Please consider donating what you can to put their minds at ease so they can focus on beating this cancer.
