Kelly Siegler Patterson of Looking Glass Farms is a gifted horsewoman whose dedication has touched countless lives in the Aiken area and beyond. Known for her Parelli training and her ability to transform even the most troubled horses, Kelly has helped people reconnect with their animals in ways they never thought possible. She’s worked miracles for horses like Maximillian De Pinnacle and Jackson, and her commitment extends to preserving rare breeds such as the Spanish Menorcan horses, which are close to extinction. Through her training seminars and unique ride and dine excursions, Kelly has built a strong, supportive community around her passion for horses.
Recently, Kelly suffered a devastating accident while training a horse. She sustained serious injuries, including broken ribs, a punctured lung, and vertebrae that will require fusion. Now in a neck brace and under strict doctor’s orders not to ride for at least 90 days, Kelly faces a long road to recovery. As a self-employed trainer, she has insurance to cover some of her medical bills but no assistance with living expenses, and her inability to work means her income has come to a halt. The horses currently under her care at Looking Glass Farms still need daily attention, and the costs of maintaining the farm and their well-being continue to add up.
Funds raised will go directly toward Kelly’s hospital bills, ongoing medical care, physical therapy, living expenses, and the upkeep of her beloved farm and horses. Kelly has always been there for her community, offering her expertise and support to anyone in need. Now, she needs our help to get through this difficult time and return to the work she loves. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in her recovery and the future of Looking Glass Farms.
