Help Support Kelly Shackelford’s Recovery After a Devastating ATV Accident

Hi, my name is Alex Pennington, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of one of my best friends and former co-workers at the Little Rock Police Department—Kelly Shackelford.

Kelly was recently involved in a horrific ATV accident in Magnolia, Arkansas, and had to be airlifted to Little Rock due to the severity of her injuries. She is currently hospitalized with a traumatic brain injury (TBI), multiple brain bleeds, numerous broken bones, and significant memory loss. She has already undergone surgery and now faces a long road of neurological, occupational and physical rehabilitation in the months to come.

Kelly is a fighter—but this journey will be long, painful, and filled with uncertainty. She’s lost much of her memory and will require extensive, ongoing care—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Her family has stepped in to support her through this incredibly difficult time:

• Her mother Robin (in Magnolia)

• Her daughters Sabrina (in Philadelphia) and Courtney (in Little Rock)

Together, they are working tirelessly to manage her care and coordinate the overwhelming medical demands. This situation has placed an enormous emotional and financial burden on all of them.
