* Help me beat breast cancer! *

Hi, my name is Kelly (Henderson) Rogers and I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.

As the sole caregiver and single mom to my amazing son Charlie, I'd be lying if I said I'm not nervous about what the future holds, as well as the financial toll this will take on me.

Charlie is and always will be my #1 priority!! While my treatment plan is still developing, it likely will include a double mastectomy, which will have me unable to work in the same capacity I am now, and the thought of the financial strain is hard to put into words.

I've never been great at asking for help, more so great at helping others. I owe it to myself and my son as we navigate this new journey.

I genuinely appreciate any donations, and please keep my family and my health in your prayers. I understand the support I have from many others who have traveled this unfortunate road before me, and it means the world to know I'm NOT fighting this battle alone!

UPDATE ***** I changed my profile picture to the most appropriate breast cancer fundraiser race pic I have. It was at the 2017 Lady Track Shack 5K in Orlando. I did that race 5 years in a row. I found this pic, my favorite finish line pic. It was so cold in October in FL (?) yet by the time I finished, I was really sweating and SUPER HAPPY! This was and still is my PR (personal record) in a 5K race. It was a race only for women. We all raised money to support women that were uninsured and couldn’t afford a mammogram. Paying it forward is what life is all about!
