Hi everyone,

My name is Kelly Higinson and I'm on the transplant list for a bilateral lung transplant. My lungs are completely diminished. No left lung, completely gone, and right at 25%.

I'm getting behind on bills since everything has gone up. I could use money for gas when errands are needed or to take taxi services. I do get medical transportation for doctor appointments, but sometimes it doesn't work out and my son brings me. It gets expensive for him. I count on SNAP benefits and now that's gone. Life is tough for me. I am a happy, blessed, and go-at-heart woman. My doctors have turned many offers of lungs away so I get the perfect pair.

I could really use some help during this time. I'm not good at asking.
