Kelly Richardson and I have been friends for over 20 years, and I've always admired her strength and kindness. Right now, she's facing one of the hardest moments of her life. Her son Jake, age 20, was in a terrible motorcycle accident and has been in critical care in the ICU since April 17th.

To be by his side, Kelly had to temporarily close her small business, Sunflower Salon, here in Waterbury. This has left her without income while medical bills and travel expenses to the hospital continue to grow.

Kelly is the kind of person who always puts others first and never asks for help, even when she needs it most. That's why l'm reaching out to our community on her behalf. The funds raised here will go directly toward covering her son's medical bills, travel expenses, and helping Kelly keep Sunflower Salon afloat during this incredibly difficult time.
