Hi family and friends,

I am reaching out on behalf of my parents, Steve and Kelly Hansen. Not many people know, but they were both diagnosed with cancer within a 3 month span of each other over the summer. In spite of their extremely rare and unfortunate circumstances, they have remained incredibly stoic and have continued working up until very recently due to unbearable pain. Unfortunately, they have not been able to get on disability due to the types of jobs they had.

If you know them, you know that they are not the type to ask for or accept help, and are always putting others needs before themselves. However, it has come to the point that bills are starting to pile up and without a source of income, they will not be able to afford their basic necessities much longer. My hope with this GoFundMe is that some of the stress of being able to pay for food, bills, and medical expenses will be taken off of them so they can focus on healing.
