My name is Angela, I’m the only child of a family of 3. Recently my father Kelly was in a car accident totaling our toy hauler trailer, truck, and quads. Growing up wasn't easy to say the least, we have always struggled with money and both my parents struggle with addiction. For a long time it was me and father alone as a kid, during that time he leaned to alcohol to deal with the pain. Eventually, the addiction turned to health problems years later. My dad was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver and ever since then it’s been lots of doctor visits, gas, money you name it. Turned one struggle into a bigger one as now me and my mother constantly worry about him. We have had many support systems through the years which are GREATLY appreciated, but this wreck has caused a lot of stress and tons of bills. My dad is on disability, and my mother works as a care giver which brings in just enough money to pay the rent and most bills. Thank you for your consideration, I truly wanted to lean away from starting a fund raiser but as I see it my family has no other choice.
