Recently, my twin sister Kelli Richardson-Stanifer, mother of 3, step-mother of 2 and grandmother to 3, received the life-altering news that she was diagnosed with breast cancer, setting her and her family on a difficult journey. After her diagnosis, Kelli courageously underwent a double mastectomy, only to be met with further challenges when she lost her job shortly after.

Through this difficult time, her husband Michael has been her rock, standing by her side during her recovery, offering the love and strength she needs to keep fighting. Now, as Kelli bravely undergoes chemotherapy, they are hopeful that the new year will bring the wonderful news of being cancer-free.

Kelli has spent her career caring for others in the healthcare field, dedicating her life to supporting people in their toughest battles. Now, it’s our turn to help Kelli as she faces her own.
