I am a proud uncle of Kelli, my first niece. She is married to Michael, the love of her life. Kelli has always had a generous and giving heart. Recently, this loving family has undergone a major challenge with Michael's diabetes requiring that half of his left foot be surgically removed. Michael has been the only source of income for his family because Kelli went through some very serious health issues of her own a few years back. Michael is now unable to work for the foreseeable future. The medical bills are approaching $500,000.00! But more immediately, they are approaching inability to pay their rent, utilities, and car payment. This amounts to about $5,000.00 per month. It is their understanding that their application for Social Security Disability will take at least ten months.
