Hi my name is Jessica. As many of you may know my cousin Kellen was hit by a car on his motorcycle Friday, April 16. The vehicle took off without stopping potentially leaving him for dead as far as they knew. Thank God for the mechanism and features on his phone that was able to detect impact and call 911 saving his life, he was hospitalized for six days due to his injuries, which include a fractured specula, fractured L4( lower spine),fractured, nose, stitches, and severe road rash over the majority of his body. Unfortunately all of his medical bills will be being paid for out of pocket because he has no medical insurance, and is unable to work for at least 8 weeks during his recovery process leaving him and his family to figure out how to make ends meet. If you know Kellen you know he is an all around great person and he does great things for our community. So at this time I am asking our community to help donate for his medical bills and living expenses if possible to alleviate some of the stress this has caused him and his family.
