Hello, my name is Kellee and I'm raising funds to help train my dog to become a mobility service dog so I can live more safely and independently.
I am disabled and experience mobility-related limitations that make everyday tasks more difficult and at times, unsafe. These challenges affect my balance, stability, endurance, and ability to move confidently through daily life without assistance.
A professionally trained mobility service dog would provide critical, task-based support. My dog would be trained to assist with mobility-related tasks such as balance support, steady walking assistance, retrieving dropped or needed items, helping me rise or stabilize after standing and providing physical support during moments of weakness or instability.
Training a mobility service dog is an extensive and costly process that requires professional guidance to ensure safety for both myself and my dog. Funds raised will go directly toward professional mobility service dog training , evaluations, specialized equipment (such as harnesses and mobility gear), veterinary care related to training readiness, and ongoing education to ensure my dog meets service dog standards.
This fundraiser is about access, safety, and independence- NOT convenience. Having a properly trained mobility service dog would significantly improve my quality of life and allow me to navigate the world with greater confidence and stability.
Any support- whether through donating or sharing- means more than I can express. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for helping me take this important step forward.
