As most people know, Keli has congenital heart disease and has had multiple open-heart surgeries, including a pacemaker, over the years since she was an infant. The next step for her health is for a heart transplant and possibly a liver transplant.

We are currently traveling to Vanderbilt Hospital for all of her specialist appointments, which include appointments for her evaluation before they place her on the transplant list at Vanderbilt.

Once she receives a match and has her transplant, she will be in the hospital for approximately 4 weeks. After that, it is required that she lives within 50 miles of Vanderbilt Hospital for all appointments for 6-12 weeks. After that, there will be monthly appointments to follow up with her transplant team. She is required to have two caregivers, which will be myself, Kayla (her sister), and Craig (her boyfriend).

The expenses we are trying to fundraise will help cover the cost of housing while in Nashville, gas expenses, food, and to help cover lost wages while we are being caregivers for Keli.
