Hi, my name is Lexi On August 10th at 7:14 am, I ran to my neighbor's rescue. A violent pit bull attacked their dog and dragged the baby into its backyard. I sprang into action and went after the pit bull. Nova, the small dog, was rushed for emergency surgery. Unfortunately, Nova did not make it. She died later that night. The owners of the pit bull are refusing to take accountability. I am heartbroken for the owner as she is 37 weeks pregnant. Her dog was on a leash, yet the pit bull was not, and the owner's negligence led to this attack.
