On February 1st, our lives changed when my husband Keith was in a serious car accident that left him with a broken humerus bone and severe nerve damage in his arm. Since then, Keith has undergone two major surgeries, and while he’s making progress, his hand still isn’t functioning properly. He’s about to begin physical therapy, but the road to recovery is long and uncertain.
Keith has been out of work for almost six months, and we don’t know when or if he’ll be able to return. As a family, we’re facing mounting medical bills, therapy costs, and all the basic expenses that come with daily life—utilities, groceries, and transportation to appointments. With only one income and me out of work for the summer, we’re struggling to stay afloat and keep our home running.
Despite everything, Keith remains a devoted father and always puts our family first, even while dealing with pain and uncertainty. We’re reaching out for help to cover the costs of his ongoing care and to support our family through this difficult time. Any support will make a real difference as Keith works toward healing and regaining his independence.
