Support Keith's Mom in Tough Times

My name is Keith Smith. I am raising these funds for my mother in Plymouth, Michigan (Deborah Conner) whose husband (my step-father) recently passed away. She lost his SSA payments when he died, and an interview with the agency could take several months and has to be in-person. In the meantime, she has between $800-900/month coming in, but just rent is in excess of $1,000; some utilities, food, car insurance, etc. cost extra. Her lease expires late September, whilst mine will not until early December. She is undecided whether to move in with me in Lansing (in which case I will need to transfer from a studio to 1- or 2-bedroom) or with my half-sister in Anchorage (who has room in her house). The main problem with moving is that she has a lot of stuff, and many boxes, to move. My proximity may be an advantage there. But between now and then, she will need to cover expenses in Plymouth at her apartment, at least until September. Any help would go directly to cover my mother's expenses. Thanks for any help.
