My name is Shelly Wright and I am putting together a GoFundMe for a dear co-worker of mine named Keith Richards. He unexpectedly lost his wife, Amy, a week ago. As you know, it is quite expensive to pay for funerals and creamations. Any little bit will help. I am adding his words and description of Amy below.
My beautiful wife, friend and soulmate, Amy Richards, my Ladybug has left this place for her eternal home with CHRIST and is no longer in pain or misery . She was born on September 2, 1973, in Victorville, CA and passed away on August 6, 2024 in St. George, UT. I was home with her all that day and will share more about that toward the end of this writing.
She was the beloved daughter of Daniel and Vickie Turner and was raised by them on their horse ranch in Hinkley, CA. She loved horses and animals of every kind. Her youth was filled with sports and theatrical endeavors and she was a vaarsity softball pitcher of some renown in High School. Amy graduated from Barstow High School in 1991 and furthered her education at Barstow Community College, College of Southern Nevada and UNLV during her lifetime.
She worked at In-N-Out Burger for 26 years before retiring in 2016. During her years there she soared high as a management team member corporate trainer/new store all star and store trainer for two different locations near the end of her career with them.
She had two boys with her first husband, Kevin Manness, Matthew and Morgan. She is survived by these amazing young men that I love very much. My deepest sorrow is reserved for these boys and I will always be thankful for my relationship with them.
In her free time, Amy enjoyed making plastic floral arrangements as a hobby, bringing beauty and joy to those around her. Her positive spirit and kind heart touched the lives of many people specifically those she trained and mentored through In-N-Out. She also dedicated some of her time to helping the homeless through various organizations.
I was with her the entire day of the 5th. We spent it laying in bed as we both had the flu. I was with her arms around her and lifting her up from slouching when the heart attack hit. I was holding her beautiful little hand and stroking her hair back early the next morning, at 3:15 am, when the machines were turned off and she left her body behind. I took my ladybug all the way home like I promised her I would. I never left her or forsook her. She was the love of my life and I will miss her terribly.
Amy passed away due to heart failure, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all of us who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed by many more besides myself.
