We’d like you to meet Keith Holmes. Those closest to him will describe him as many things — a beautiful soul, a passionate advocate, the life of every room he walks into — but above all, a man with a heart for others.

In all the years we have known him, he has shown up for others without hesitation. As a youth pastor, he walked alongside at-risk teenagers during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. As a peer support advocate, he has sat with adults in their darkest hours — people struggling with mental health, trauma, and hopelessness — and reminded them they are not alone.

He does this because he knows what it is to struggle. Keith carries his own history of trauma and has lived with PTSD for much of his life. That lived experience is what makes him so effective at reaching people others have given up on.

Keith has never been in trouble with the law. He is a gentle, faith-driven man whose life has been oriented toward service and healing. However, a recent trauma response during a frightening situation led to a serious legal matter that has turned his world upside down. We are not able to share details publicly, but we want you to know that those closest to Keith are fighting hard — and we believe deeply in his innocence and his character.

We must raise funds upwards of $27,000 to cover legal fees, related expenses, and the mental health care Keith needs. Every bit helps more than you know.
