My name is Rena and I’m here for the first time to raise funds to help our neighbor in Asheville, North Carolina. We have been neighbors for a couple of years. We were very excited to join this small historic community called Craggy, a Tiny Town on The Tracks. There are only a handful of neighbors in Historic Craggy, who help and look out for each other and are always there to assist, but no one does it better than Keith Clemmons, a resident of this community for the past 50 years. Keith is a mechanic and he runs his business from the front yard of his house. Keith and his wife Betty have created a beautiful oasis by the French Broad River through hard work and long hours. It is devastating to see what has happened to their home. Keith is the type of person that we never have to ask for help or assistance. If he sees something that needs fixing, he just does it. This man has a heart of gold and we all love and appreciate him so much! We would love to be able to help Keith and Betty in any way we can, as they didn’t only lose most of their home but also a place of business. Sometimes we look out of the window at midnight and Keith is still in his garage tirelessly working on cars. He never gets a break.
