Support Keisha's Recovery from Guillain-Barre Syndrome

Pleasant greetings to you all that’s taken the time to read this Gofundme account. I, myself have deeply gotten involved with the status and healing of my friend and High School classmate’s fiancé, Keisha Stone. As of today, August 8, 2024, Keisha has been hospitalized for 100 calendar days! Her progress has been a long and strenuous process! Keisha was diagnosed with Gullian-Barre’ Syndrome. This is a condition in which the immune system attacks the nerves. During this diagnosis, upon hospitalization, Keisha was intubated and has had a tracheotomy placement. Keshia has to have complete care, around the clock, in which my friend, Robert Story, has done!

Keisha and Robert have one son, Ayden. Ayden, 13 has been tremendously affected by seeing his mother go through all that she has. This has been difficult for the entire family.

Robert has had to be everything around the clock for his family! An advocate and voice for Keisha, as well as her care giver! This not only stops there, he has to continue to take care of their son. Keisha and Robert reside in GA, in which they have no relatives and family in the state. So, the responsibilities of doing everything that needs to be done for Ayden and Keisha is solely relied upon Robert!

Robert, during this time has exhausted all his savings and resources, for he hasn’t been able to continue working, being that his fiancé has been in the hospital for over three months.

I wanted to help as much as I could, because I have been in this exact same place that Keisha is in. Confined to a hospital bed, not knowing how long the process would be for healing, or if I would even make it out the hospital. My heart empathizes for them! Not knowing how you may continue to provide for your family, how will your child be taken care of, and looking at the healing process ahead, is overwhelming within itself!

Someone cared enough to do the same for me 9 years ago, so, I wanted to be that person on the other side, and extend the hand for my friend and his family as well!!

Robert is in need of help with monetary assistance for extended care for Keisha, when she leaves the hospital, she will need to go to inpatient therapy, he needs help with bills, food, assistance with Ayden’s return to school supplies, in which he just started 8th grade, he needs help basically with everyday living costs!! Nothing is too big or small, if we all come together to help this family in need!!

Please let’s help Keisha, Robert, and Ayden for this journey is a long process, and bills continue to come, needs have to still be met!!! He needs the help!!! Let’s be what he needs!!! I am a believer that with God, nothing is Impossible!!!
