Hello everyone! I’d like to begin by saying thank you for taking your time to read this post. There is strength in community, and I’d really love to show that for this beautiful young woman Keisha. Keisha has been battling hearing loss since birth. Living life with hearing loss can really impact the everyday life we all take for granted. As hearing impacts our daily decisions, and our reaction times it is a necessity as a mom to be able to hear what is going on in the world around you. Unfortunately Keisha can no longer depend on her hearing aids to be able to protect her children and her self. Keisha is a full time mom to her daughter Abigail, works full time with the disabled community, and is expecting a new little boy in November. Keisha’s current hearing aids only work minimally. Due to America’s broken insurance system, new hearing aids would cost about $6,400 with no help from insurance. As many of you may know, Keisha rarely asks for help, but in order to be able to hear properly she needs our help. With a baby on the way, there is little to no time to save up that kind of money. If you have a few dollars to spare, it would greatly benefit not only Keisha, but her children and family as well. We appreciate all the love and support that our community can pull together for this extremely deserving human being, as hearing properly should not be an option to only those with money, but to everyone who suffers.
Again, thank you for reading, please share, donate, show some love.
