Hello! My name is Keira Matthews, and I have been accepted into the Rotary Youth Exchange Program for 2025-2026! This incredible opportunity will allow me to spend a year abroad, living with host families and fully immersing myself in a new culture.

When I first applied to this program, I knew it was about more than just traveling. I want to challenge myself to grow, step outside of my comfort zone, and gain a deeper understanding of the world. I’ve always dreamed of studying abroad, and I believe this exchange will be transformative—not just for me, but for the way I contribute to the world around me.

Through this experience, I hope to build lifelong connections, improve my language skills, and gain new perspectives that will shape my future. My ultimate goal is to be able to research developmental neuroscience and trama development and I know this exchange will give me the independence, adaptability, and cultural awareness I’ll need to succeed in that field.

I’m beyond excited to take this step. I’ve already been working hard—between school, practice, and job applications—to raise the funds I need to make this dream a reality. But to reach my goal of $6,500 by June 2025, I’m asking for your support.
