Our dear friend Keila Trujillo has recently been diagnosed with stage 3 adenocarcinoma gastric cancer (stomach cancer) — a life-altering diagnosis that has turned her world upside down.

This journey began with a silent threat — H. pylori, a common bacteria that often shows no symptoms, yet can lead to devastating illnesses like this one. We’re sharing this to raise awareness, but also to humbly ask for support.

Keila will be undergoing aggressive chemotherapy in the coming weeks. The treatment will bring intense symptoms — extreme fatigue, nausea, vomiting, and a severely weakened immune system. During this time, she cannot be around many people. She will rely almost entirely on her husband, who has already paused work to care for her and get her to every appointment.

They have children who still need care, love, and a sense of routine. Rent, gas, car insurance, food — life’s responsibilities continue, even through a crisis.

With Keila stepping away from work at the beginning of May, her husband will be carrying everything on his shoulders — emotionally, physically, and financially. The pressure is real, and the stress of everyday life is becoming just as heavy as the diagnosis itself.
