Support Kei and Julian’s Relocation

Kei and Julian are disabled, queer, artists who need help funding their upcoming move this May-June!

 

Kei and Julian have both been diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS). EDS is a genetic connective tissue disorder. For Kei and Julian, it affects not just joints but multiple organ systems.

 

This makes walking, moving, and lifting things incredibly strenuous and damaging. Working regular jobs, or moving households, isn’t something either Kei or Julian can do without severely impacting their health.

 

Both Julian and Kei work non-traditional jobs - they are St. Louis based artists who make a living selling art and running their online store. This means that income is low, and often fluctuates.

 

The main goal of this fundraiser is to fund Kei and Julian’s immediate needs.

 

Additionally, we’re aiming to fund:

 

Not only is moving hard, but the packing and unpacking process is exhausting. Between working to make rent and finding a new place to live, Kei and Julian don’t have any energy to spare.

Fully funding these costs would not only make this transition possible, but it would enable Kei and Julian to rest/recover before and after the move.
